this shoot has been in the works for a long long time. whitney and i have been going back and forth with ideas for the perfect theme, the perfect location, the perfect time of year, the perfect props and clothing choices and well.. it went perfectly as planned. well besides having to split the sessions into 2 different days because of the lovely weather. whit is amazing when it comes to this sort of thing and i absolutely adore the fact that she loves planning out every little detail of our session, like i do. she is super lucky to have a darling husband who just smiles and says, what time do i need to be there and what should i wear. or possibly he is scared to tell us no. ;)

phil and whitney are really some of the most amazing parents I have ever met and i feel so blessed to call them my good friends. it seems like just yesterday they were announcing the adoption of roma and now they are days away from being approved to start the process again. they are so excited and cannot wait to welcome another tiny baby into their family. these little ones have no idea how lucky they will be to call phil and whitney, daddy and mommy...
